LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Kristen Fulford has earned the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Week after her incredible start to the season. 

Making her only appearance in the win, the junior picked up four steals, two blocks, and picked up five defensive rebounds, holding to her defensive attitude, covering 37 minutes across the game. 

Fulford was the defensive wall for Mansfield, helping the Mounties to a 1-1 start on the season with a dominant season opener victory over Bowie State, defeating the Bulldogs 66-57.  

The Mountaineers will continue their dominant defense, holding the third best opponent field goal percentage in the conference, when the team heads to Penn State Schuylkill on November 17. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m
