Skylar Brown and
Abigail Taylor's performances highlight a solid showing for the Mansfield University Women's track and field team on day two of the Bison Opener, hosted by Bucknell University on Saturday, Jan. 28.

Skylar Brown finished second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.81 in the finals. She improved on a 7.85 in the preliminaries. In that first race Brown was joined by
Island Blanche (12
th, 8.26) and
Magi Earnest (35
th, 8.79)

Abigail Taylor finished fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.15 meters.Â

Anna Duncan and Anisa Lytle  finished sixth (3:21.06) and eighth (3:43.50) in the 1000-meter run.Â

Bailey Morgan finished tenth in the 3K with a time of 11:06.99.
Carrie Claypool and
Shelby Alexander finished 17
th (11:25.38) and 19
th (11:30.78) respectively.

Madison Ziska finished 24
th in the long jump with a mark of 4.68 meters.

Kayla Crawford finished 29
th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:05.86.

In the 4x400-meter relay, a Mountie squad that consisted of Crawford, Blanche,
Jakayla Holmes, and Taylor finished in eighth with a time of 4:21.48.

Mansfield Track and Field is back in action on Saturday Feb. 4 as they travel to the Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell.Â
