CALIFORNIA, Pa. - The Mansfield University women's basketball team (2-15, 1-12 PSAC) fell on the road in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover action to California (Pa). (12-7, 8-5 PSAC), 91-53, on Wednesday night, Jan. 25. 
 
Jasmine Hilton led the Mounties offensively netting 13 points and grabbing six rebounds. She also had a pair of steals. Emilie Leidig scored nine and was 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Kristen Fulford added nine of the bench. 
 
The Vulcans jumped out to an early lead outscoring the Mounties 28-13 in the opening quarter and leading 50-29 at the half. The Vulcans shot 57% from the floor in the first half. 
 
California (Pa) improved their shooting percentage to 60.7% in the second half and the Mounties only shot 34.8% in the final two quarters. 
 
The Mountaineers return home on Saturday, Jan. 28 as they welcome the Marauders of Millersville University inside Decker Gymnasium.
