Mansfield led from start to finish, jumping out to a 19-point lead, 26-7, through the opening 10 minutes and never looked back.

However, that was as close as the Huskies could get, as the Mountaineers' defense forced nine steals over the next 16 minutes, while knocking down four 3-pointers and 10 shots at the line to extend their advantage to 21 and put the game out of reach.
S. Ali scored all 11 of his points during the run, where the Mounties nearly doubled the Huskies in scoring.

Jordan Montgomery lit the world on fire with the Mounties' second unit, knocking down four 3-pointers on 5-of-7 shots from the field, pouring in 14 points. Gabe Perez added nine points, while Michael Dickson filled up the stat sheet with eight points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists.

On the night, the Mounties only knocked down one more field goal, but nearly tripled the Huskies in 3-pointers (8-3), while making 21 shots at the line compared to Bloomsburg's 13.

For Bloomsburg, Matt Bengel scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead three Huskies in double figures.

The Mounties remain on the road on Wednesday, Jan. 25 when they travel to California University of Pennsylvania at 7:30 for a PSAC East-West crossover game.
