MANSFIELD – Due to anticipated weather conditions, Head Coach Andrew Chalot and the Mansfield University baseball team have announced changes to their final Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division series against Millersville University. The Mountaineers will travel to the Marauders on Thursday afternoon, May 5 for a noon doubleheader at Cooper Park before hosting the Ville at Corning Community College (N.Y.) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7.

Cole Shomper on Saturday for their dedication and contributions to Mansfield University and the baseball program.
Entering the final weekend of the regular season, the Mountaineers have secured their most wins since going 23-17 in 2013, while having a chance to clinch their first winning season since going 32-20 in 2010, a season where they reached the NCAA DII Atlantic Regional. The Mountaineers have won double-digit conference games for the first time since that time period as well.
Despite dropping three straight to second-place Shippensburg, the Mountaineers still have a chance to clinch the fourth and final PSAC Eastern Division postseason berth, as they currently sit two games behind East Stroudsburg with three games remaining. ESU will conclude their season with a three-game series against Shepherd.
Millersville has clinched their destiny into the conference postseason tournament and is currently in a three-way tie for first place with Shippensburg and West Chester.
