SHIPPENSBURG – Malik Carter and Tyler Moffe led Mansfield offensively in a 65-57 PSAC East loss to Shippensburg Saturday afternoon at Heiges Field House.
 
Carter scored 14 points and pulled down six rebounds with Moffe adding 13 points for the Mounties. Jeremiah Worthem scored eight points and recorded a game-high nine rebounds. Matt Tamaosnky chipped in nine points.
 
John Castello scored a game-high 18 points for Shippensburg (20-5, 16-4 PSAC) with Dustin Sleva putting up 14 points.
 
The Raiders led for the majority of the first half, holding their biggest advantage of 11 points at the 2:34 mark. Mansfield (6-18, 5-15 PSAC) cut its deficit down to six points on a Jahmir Green lay-up to head into the break trailing 30-24.
 
The Mountaineers pulled within four points twice during the second half, but Shippensburg held on to remain undefeated at home this season.
 
Mansfield hosts Bloomsburg at First Citizens Community Bank Court at Decker Gymnasium on Wednesday.
