CLARION –
Tyler Moffe scored a team-high 20 points, but Mansfield's second half comeback bid fell just short in a 71-65 PSAC crossover loss at Clarion Saturday afternoon.
The Mountaineers led through the early part of the 1sthalf, but Clarion (2-4, 1-2 PSAC) took over the lead at the 13:42 mark and would not relinquish. The Golden Eagles led by as many as 21 points in the half before Mansfield brought its deficit down to 14 points with a 40-26 halftime score.
