LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –
Brielle Kelly topped three Mountaineers in double-figures, but Lock Haven held on to secure the 61-56 decision at Thomas Fieldhouse on Wednesday.
Kelly dropped 15 points, connecting on 7-of-12 from the floor, while blocking two shots.
Alyssa Mullins grabbed a game-high nine boards and added 11 points of her own. The senior recorded two blocks and two assists.
Erin Gibbons rounded out double-digit scoring for the Mountaineers with 10 points and four rebounds.
Mary Kate Rumbaugh also chipped in six points and grabbed six rebounds.
Mansfield (7-15, 5-11 PSAC) opened up on an early 12-5 lead in the first frame. Gibbons drained both of her trifectas in the first three minutes of play. Both teams exchanged buckets until a Rileigh Devine three-pointer tied up the game for Lock Haven (4-15, 3-12 PSAC) at 16-16.

Alayna Biesecker drove the Mountaineers to a lead of six before ending the first half ahead 25-24.
After a lead change with less than nine minutes to go, the Mounties held the advantage for the remainder of the third quarter. The Eagles came within a point of the Mounties, but MU led 46-43 with ten minutes left to play.
Both teams matched free throw for free throw in the opening minutes of the final frame with Mansfield coming out on top 49-47 at the eight-minute mark. The lead changed four times in the last five minutes before Lock Haven locked down the 61-56 victory.
Devine topped the Eagles with a game-high 19 points.
The Mountaineers return to First Citizens Community Bank Court at Decker Gymnasium to host East Stroudsburg this Saturday. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
