MANSFIELD –
Brielle Kelly dropped a game-high 26 points and 10 rebounds but Cheyney earned the 69-63 decision at the First Citizens Community Bank Court at Decker Gymnasium on Wednesday.

Kelly scored 12 of her 26 points in the first period, shooting 4-9 from the field for Mansfield (7-13, 5-9 PSAC).
Erin Gibbons connected on three trifectas to score 11 points while dishing out three assists.
Alyssa Mullins added nine points and
Mary Kate Rumbaugh seven points as the two combined for 12 boards.

Melanie Taylor opened the contest with a trey before the Mountaineers worked their way to a ten-point lead in the first period. Gibbons went a perfect 3-3 from beyond the arch in the second frame.

Mansfield took a 35-24 advantage into halftime but Cheyney (5-14, 3-10 PSAC) outscored the Mounties 45-28 in the second half.

TaKayla Ellis topped the Wolves with 21 points and Yasmine Dorrielan grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds.

The Mountaineers hit the road to face Millersville for the second time this season after earning the 60-54 victory at Decker Gymnasium. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m.
