LEWISBURG, Pa. – Quashaun Jaquay Willis ran to an outdoor personal best in the 800-meter run on Saturday at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic.
 
Willis finished third in his heat and 51^st overall in a large field of 154 athletes from mostly Division I programs. The senior's PSAC time of 1:56.25 was an outdoor PR and shaved almost four seconds off his previous outdoor best this season. Willis now ranks seventh in the PSAC in the 800m.
 
Nicholas Auchenbach took 15^th in the 400-meter hurdles at 55.47, which was just two-tenths of a second off his personal best. Auchenbach improved his conference standing to rank seventh in the 400m hurdles.
 
The Mountaineers traveled with a limited squad with just Willis and Auchenbach competing on Saturday.
 
Mansfield is back in action at the SUNY Cortland Classic next weekend.
