BRADFORD, Pa. –
Brielle Kelly and
Erin Gibbons totaled 33 points in the 60-50 non-conference win over Pitt-Bradford on Wednesday.

Mansfield (2-1) never trailed in the game, going on a 15 point run to lead 17-6 in the first 10 minutes. Pitt-Bradford (0-1) missed its first 13 shots before hitting one from the line.

Once again, after a slow start to the second half, the Panthers sunk a shot from beyond the arch. Kelly followed suit and matched her three.

Pit-Bradford upped their game, outscoring the Mountaineers in the third quarter and matching them in the final frame of the low scoring affair.

After a Panther layup, the Mounties would hold them scoreless for the remainder of the game as
Paige Whitfield and GIbbons added free throws to the stretch the lead to 60-50.

Mansfield went 15-20 from the line and held an advantage in turnovers with nine to the Panthers 15. The Panthers connected on three of 17 attempted threes. Ali Rinfrette and Jennifer Isenberg led Pitt-Bradford each with 15 points.

With her double digits today, Kelly has come within one point of reaching her 1,000
th career point. She will be the 17
th player in Mansfield program history to have reached this milestone.
In addition to Kelly, Gibbons went 6-10 from the line and added 16 of her own and grabbed eight boards.
Mary Kate Rumbaugh put up 10 while
Alyssa Mullins recorded six points and four rebounds, as
McKenzie Hatch and
Melanie Taylor each added four of their own.

Mansfield continues their stint on the road when they travel to Seton Hill on Saturday before heading to California (Pa.) on Sunday. Both games are set for 1 p.m.
