MANSFIELD, Pa. –
Tianna Jackson led Mansfield with 12 points, but division-leading Shippensburg proved to be too much for the Mounties in a 75-47 PSAC East loss at Decker Gymnasium Monday night.
Â
Shippensburg (10-5, 5-4 PSAC) jumped out to an early 8-2 lead, but a pair of Jackson free throws and back-to-back Rumbaugh lay-ups cut the lead down to two points at 10-8. However, a 9-0 Shippensburg run gave the Raiders a 19-8 lead at the end of the first. Ship continued to roll in the second quarter, outscoring Mansfield (3-10, 1-8 PSAC) 18-8 to carry a 37-16 lead into halftime.
Â
The Mountaineer offense picked up in the second half with the team combining to shoot 55.0% (11-20) from the floor and 60.0% (3-5) from 3-point. 10 of Jackson's game-high 12 points came in the second half alone.

Reining PSAC East Freshman of the Week
Bella Ricci hit double-figure scoring for the third straight game scoring 10 points while adding three assists. Rumbaugh and

Â
Colleen Young scored a game-high 16 points to lead four Raiders in double-digit scoring. Morgan Griffith scored 10 points and pulled down a game-high nine boards.
