INDIANA, Pa. –
Charles Pemberton scored a team-high 17 points for Mansfield, but No. 24 IUP capitalized on Mountaineer turnovers to earn a 92-51 win in PSAC crossover action at the Kovalchick Complex.

Shawn Dyer scored a game-high 23 points and Devante Chance recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists to snap a two-game losing streak for IUP (8-2, 2-2 PSAC). Brandon Norfleet added 15 points for the Hawks.

IUP lit up the Mounties from 3-point, hitting 14-of-28 attempts from downtown. The Hawks racked up 41 points on 33 Mansfield (4-4, 2-3 PSAC) turnovers.

Pemberton got the Mounties on the board first and after back-to back IUP buckets,
Andreas Katopodis' lay-up tied the game at 4-4. The Crimson Hawks held an 11-6 lead at the 16:14 mark, but Mansfield used a 9-2 run over the next five minutes to gain a 15-13 advantage.

IUP retook the lead after a 6-0 run then eventually held a seven-point advantage at 24-17 with 6:28 remaining.
Kenny Johnson's 3-pointer brought the deficit to just four points, but IUP closed out the first half with an 18-7 run to hold a 42-27 halftime lead.

In the second half, IUP continued to build its lead, outscoring the Mounties 50-24.

Ralik Wise connected on a career-best two 3-pointers on his way to eight points in the game while pulling down a team-high five rebounds. Katopodis added six points.

The Mountaineers finish their two-game road trip tomorrow at Seton Hill.
