LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Jena Matter scored a game-high 19 points to lead four Mountaineers in double-figure scoring, but it wouldn't be enough as Mansfield dropped an 80-63 non-conference tilt at Lincoln Saturday afternoon.
 
Matter was 6-12 from the field with a trey and connected on 6-of-7 free throws for a season-high in scoring. It marked the most points scored by Matter since putting up 20 against Clarion on Jan. 10, 2013.
 
Katie Fitzpatrick recorded her second career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 13 boards. She also added six assists and four steals in the loss.
 
Katie Yale and Megan McSwain each recorded 10 points for the Mountaineers.
 
Lincoln was led offensively by Amani Clark who scored 16 points and added eight rebounds. Courtney Lucas chipped in 10 points for the Lions.
 
The Mountaineers outrebounded Lincoln 47-43. Mansfield gave up 24 turnovers in the game.
 
Mansfield concludes its four-game road trip with a pair of PSAC crossover games at Gannon and Clarion on Tuesday and Wednesday.
