BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Carlee Dragon recorded a hat trick and two assists to lead No. 8 LIU Post to a 7-1 victory over visiting No. 9 Mansfield in PSAC crossover field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
 
LIU Post (4-1, 0-1 PSAC East) scored five goals in the first period of play to hold a commanding lead over the Mountaineers at intermission. The Pioneers would add another score in the opening minutes of the second half to extend their lead to 6-0.
 
Junior Taryn Schawillie scored Mansfield's (3-3, 0-1 PSAC West) lone goal in the 52^nd minute of the contest. Schawillie's unassisted score was her sixth of the season.
 
Dragon paced the Pioneer's offense recording two goals and two assists in the first half and another goal in the second half.

Sophomore Jessi Swingle recorded a defensive save in the fifth minute of the game.
 
The Mountaineers travel to Seton Hill on Wednesday, Sept. 19 for a PSAC West matchup.
