WEST CHESTER – Megan Stewart led four West Chester players in double figures with a game-high 15 points to lead the Golden Rams to a 62-46 win over visiting Mansfield Saturday afternoon.

Mansfield played well early in the game holding a 21-10 lead 11 minutes into the game but the Mountaineers managed to score just one more field goal in the first half to trail 29-26 at halftime.

West Chester would increase its lead to 44-30 with just under 12 minutes to play before Mansfield rallied using a 8-0 run to cut the lead to 44-38 on a layup by Nicole Pender with just over six minutes remaining in the game.

But West Chester countered with a 14-2 run over the next three minutes to put the game out of reach.

Mansfield committed a season-high 35 turnovers in the game and was outrebounded 48-38.

Mallory Moore led the Mountaineers in scoring with 12 points and just missed a double-double with nine rebounds along with five steals. Julia Stevenson added 10 points.

In addition to Stewart's 15 points, Alex Lennon, Mary Kat Serratelli and Allison Hostetter each scored 10 points for West Chester.
