BLOOMSBURG – Mallory Moore scored 24-points and became the 14th player in school history to surpass the 1,000 point milestone but it wouldn't be enough as Mansfield dropped an 85-61 decision to Bloomsburg in a PSAC East contest Wednesday evening at Nelson Field House.

A junior, Moore need just 11 points coming into the game to reach the 1,000 point milestone. She need little time to reach the accomplishment scoring 11 of Mansfield's first 18 points and recording her 1,000 point on a follow-up to a missed shot with 9:26 to play in the first half.

It marked the seventh time this season Moore has scored 20 or more points in a game and the second time in the last three games. Moore also added eight rebounds and five steals. Moore now has 1,013 career points moving past Jessica Pfeiffer (2000-04, 1,011 points) for 13th place on the all-time scoring list.

Nicole Pender added eight points while Julia Stevenson pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.

Bloomsburg connected on 14-of-33 three-point attempts and forced 29 Mansfield turnovers.

Kelsey Gallagher led three Bloomsburg with a game-high 25 points. Kayla Oxenrider added 23 points and Dana Wieller 11 points.
