FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountie women face off against Bloomsburg Wednesday

Mansfield – Mansfield will look to bounce back from a tough loss at Shippensburg this past Saturday when the Mounties face-off against Bloomsburg University in a PSAC East match-up Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Decker Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm.

Mansfield (6-10, 1-3 PSAC East) owns a winning record of 5-4 against opponents on their home floor of Decker Gymnasium. The Mountaineer's defense has been able to limit their opponent's scoring, ranking 7th in the PSAC in scoring defense. Mansfield's ability to outrebound opponents on the offensive end has led to many second-chance scoring opportunities. The Mounties are 5th in the PSAC in offensive rebounding.

Bloomsburg (11-5, 3-1) comes into Wednesday's game hot off an 81-43 victory over Cheney University on the road. Sophomore Dana Weiller leads the Huskies in scoring, averaging 18.1 points per game and is shooting 42% from behind the arc on the season.
