Everett is one of the top point guards to ever come out of Tioga County, leading North Penn High School to an NTL title and District IV runner-up in 2005. He recorded over 1,500 points and 700 assists in high school as a four-time 1st Team All-NTL selection and NTL MVP as a senior. He was named 3rd Team All-State in 2005.
Everett played two seasons for Division III Penn State Behrend before transferring to Division II Lock Haven of the PSAC. In two seasons with Lock Haven, Everett made appearances in 29 games with 10 starts. During the 2010-11 season, Everett ranked third on the team in scoring averaging 6.6 points a game.Â
Since graduating from Lock Haven in 2011, Everett has served as an assistant under hall of fame coach Ron Insinger at Loyalsock High School. During that time, the Lancers have won four District IV titles and earned three Pennsylvania State Tournament berths. Loyalsock advanced to the Eastern Finals in 2015.
