2014 - Started all but one game for the Mountaineers in 2014 as a junior ... primarily played in the outfield and was the cleanup hitter in 39 games … made a pair of starts at pitcher … had the third-best batting average on the team at .329 … tied for second on the team in hits with 48 … his 12 doubles were second-best among Mountaineers and he led the team in triples with 2 … led the team in total bases (85) and his 44 RBIs tied for the lead in the PSAC … finished tied for the lead in home runs on the team with 7 (tied for third in the PSAC) … his .582 slugging percentage led the team and was third-best in the PSAC … on-base percentage of .392 was fifth-best among Mounties … was 5-8 on stolen base attempts and only committed 2 errors on the year ... went 5-5 with 3 doubles against Lock Haven ... had 11 multi-hit games ... reached base in every game except for five ... also tallied 29 runs on the season ... ended the season on a 13-game hitting streak (tied for longest on the team). Before Mansfield - Transfer from Division I Radford in Virginia … played outfield and pitched for Radford in 2012 and 2013 … Played in 15 games as a pinch hitter / position player and made five relief appearances as a pitcher … Did not allow a run in any of his five relief outings … played third base, outfield and pitched for the Bangor High School baseball team … Hit .414 with 10 HR, 7 2B at Bangor Area as a junior … Set single season records for home runs and RBIs, and set the school’s career home run record … Bangor Area High School Team MVP and top pitcher ... Honorable Mention all-district selection as a third baseman and pitcher in his sophomore year … Earned the team’s Robert Stansbury Award as the top pitcher … selected for AAA Homerun Derby at Iron Pigs Stadium in 2010.
