Biography

2009 -- Used almost exclusively at pitcher appearing in 10 games including eight starts ... threw a complete game win over Lock Haven striking out six ... scattered eight hits over eight innings and struck out nine against Slippery Rock.

2008 - Justin led all returning players with 42 RBI and six home runs last year and ended with a .307 batting average ... he had a decent year on the mound, striking out 31 batters in just over 47 innings pitched ... pitched and served as a designated hitter for the Kutztown Rockies during the summer.

High School - Garcia was team MVP at Fleetwood HS in junior season ... All-Division Utility Player ... 1st team All- Region ... MVP Runner Up at SUNY Orange ... last year at SUNY Orange  was the NJCAA National Pitcher of the Week in an 11-inning shutout striking out seven and walking none.  

The Book on Garcia - "Garce" returns to his role as a weekend starter after a successful summer pitching for the Petersburg Generals of the Coastal Plains League ... throws three quality pitches ... fastball between 88 and 91 mph
