Biography

2019 - Team MVP ... Started in all nine of his appearances from the mound in his senior year, tossing a team-best 48.0 innings … Reached career-bests in strikeouts (59), ERA (4.50), and opponent’s batting average (.249) … Anchored the pitching staff, completing four-or-more innings of work in each of his nine starts … Dominated #9 West Chester, tossing a complete game shutout with eight strikeouts and the victory …  His three wins, two complete games, and 59 strikeouts led the staff, while his opponent’s batting average and ERA ranked first and second, respectively … Across the conference, his ERA ranked 23rd, and his K/9 ratio was ninth … With 11.06 strikeouts per nine innings, McAndrew ranked 62nd in the nation … He ended up just two strikeouts outside of the Mansfield University Top-10 for his career (148) … He, along with teammate Brady Mengel, earned Iron Mountie of the Year, as determined by Strength & Conditioning Coach Ernie Ruch.

2018 - Co-Male Iron Mountie of the Year … started in eight of his nine appearances on the mound … topped Mansfield in strikeouts with 36 over 36.1 innings pitched … pitched a complete game effort against Millersville (4/6) ... recorded eight strikeouts in a win over Northwood (3/11) and against East Stroudsburg (3/24) … recorded four assists.
