MANSFIELD, Pa. - The Mansfield Mountaineers women's soccer team took on Bloomsburg on Wednesday (Sept 23.) for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference matchup and fell by a score of 4-1.
Aaliyah Stocks led the Mounties (1-7-0 | 0-6-0 PSAC) offensively, collecting a goal in the game. The goal marked the first in her career.
Mikayla Britz collected the assist on the Mansfield goal, also marking another career first.
The Huskies (5-3-0 | 3-3-0 PSAC) got the scoring started in the game, putting up three goals in the first half.
The Mountaineers answered back in the remaining two minutes of the first half when Britz put a nice pass through three defenders and met Stocks who sent a rocket into the upper right corner of the goal.
Bloomsburg picked up one more goal in the second half, solidifying their win over Mansfield.
