BROCKPORT, N.Y.- The Mansfield Mountaineers men's track and field team had seven top 10 finishes at the Brockport Multi & Invitational, on Sunday April 12.
Cahsid Raymond took victory in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.26. He was joined in the race with a number of Mounties.
Dominic Bill (23.47),
Ibrahim Sheriff (23.70),
Joseph Frye (23.86),
Lovett Davenport (24.22),
Antonio Green Jr. (24.68), and
David Martinez (25.78) rounded out the Mounties.
Raymond would earn second place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.06. Six additional Mounties would finish the race.
Dorrian McCargo (11.42), Bill (11.53), Davenport (12.01),
Jerry Holmes Jr. (12.04), Martinez (12.66) and Josh Culver (12.84) rounded out the finishers.
Frye and Davenport would compete in the long jump and had 5.51 and 5.27 meter jumps respectively.
Mansfield would have two top 10 relay finishes.
In the 4x100 meter relay, the Mountie quartet would finish second with a time of 42.53. That time is only 0.03 second off the Mansfield record.
The 4x400 meter relay team finished sixth with a time of 3:38.51.
Holmes would shine in the high jump finishing fourth clearing a height of 1.78 meters.
Calvin Cragle would finish third in the shot put with a high mark of 14.65.
Joey Biviano would hit a mark of 11.81 in the same event.
The tandem would also compete in the weight throw. Biviano had the better mark at 37.56 and Cragle hit a mark of 35.61.
Khyre Inman finished seventh in the javelin with a best mark of 44.21 meters. Frye and McCargo also competed finishing 11
th and 12
th with marks of 39.28 and 39.24.
Connor Trimber hit a mark of 28.71 in the event.
Inman also would hit a mark in the hammer throw of 34.10.
Derek Simpson would finish 12
th in the 3K steeplechase with a mark of 11:19.13.
Noah Shedden,
Nic Mattison, and
Rylan Ebner competed in the 1500 meter run. They had times of 4:15.77, 4:28.11, and 4:40.50.
Shedden and Ebner returned for the 800-meter run finishing with times of 2:04.23 and 2:14.44.
Will Posey III ran in the 400-meter dash finishing with a time of 54.23
