ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Mansfield University men's track and field team competed on January 23 at the RIT Friday Meet hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology.Â
Cahsid Raymond finished first in the 60-meter dash with a final time of 6.94.
Calvin Cragle made finals in shot put placing third overall with a top mark of 14.41 meters. Joey Biviano finished with a personal best of 11.76 meters.
Marcus Quaker placed fifth in high jump with a mark of 1.88m, Pius Adomako Jr. finished in seventh with 1.78m.
Dominic Bill placed eighth in long jump with a final mark of 6.39 meters. Joining were Jerry Holmes Jr. (6.28m), Ray Kasili (6.23m), Connor Trimber (6.03), Quaker (6.00m) and Joseph Frye (5.98m).
A pod of Quaker, Holmes Jr., Raymond and Dorrian McCargo raced the 4x200 meter, finishing third with a time of 1:34.15.
Noah Shedden finished sixth in the 3,000 meter with a time of 9:20.87. Derek Simpson picked up a 10:09.45, Rylan Ebner a 10:11.42 and Greysen Kupsky a 10:30.25.
Biviano added another best of 11.15 meters in weight throw to his day.
McCargo (7.32), Holmes Jr. (7.51), Kasili (7.73), Frye (7.81), Antonio Green Jr. (7.88) and Joshua Culver (8.04) also competed in the 60-meter dash.
Shedden finished with a time of 4:42.88 in the mile. Ebner and Kupsky finished behind with 5:00.42 and 5:11.48.
Nic Mattison finished with 56.58 in the 400 meter.
Adomako Jr. placed eighth in the 300 meter with a time of 38.54, while Ibrahim Sheriff placed 10th with 38.96.
Bill recorded a time of 24.65 in the 200-meter, Fyre (25.12), Kasili (25.32) and Green (26.56) accompanied.Â
A team of Green Jr., Adomako Jr., Sheriff and Mattison, rounded out the night in the 4x400 meter with a time of 3:58.34.
