LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Mansfield University men's basketball team competed in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action in a closely contested matchup on January 13, falling to Lock Haven, 78–76

Ty Barrett led with 13 points, two steals and one assist. 

Diarmid Stewart and Nasir Brown added 11 points.

Julian Wilson opened the scoring at the free-throw line, while Barrett and Brown added early three-pointers to keep the game close. 

Stewart and Jackson Henry contributed perimeter scoring as Mansfield (1-13, 0-8 PSAC) took its first lead of the night. 

Sterling Scott scored late in the half to help the Mounties trail by three at halftime.

In the second half, Brown and Wilson scored inside to keep Mansfield within reach. 

Barrett knocked down a three-pointer midway through the period to cut into the deficit. 

Henry later tied the game with a fast-break layup, and Barrett followed with another three to give Mansfield a late lead. 

JuJu Pagan tied the game at 76–76 from the free-throw line, but Mansfield was unable to score on its final possession as Lock Haven (4-9, 2-6 PSAC) secured the win, 78-76.
