EDINBORO, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers men's cross country team open the 2025 season at the Doug Watts Open hosted by Edinboro, with the Mounties finishing in 9th place as a team.

Noah Shedden took a strong lead for the red and black with a time of 19:56.70, finishing in 10th place for Mansfield.

Derek Simpson and Rylan Ebner made a solid two and three pack finishing with times of 21:35.30 and 21:46.50 respectively.

Greysen Kupsky and freshman Nic Mattison rounded out the five man crew for the Mounties with times of 23:13.70 and 24:18.50.
