MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineer cross country program has announced their 2026 schedule, featuring eight meets, including two championship events.

Under head coach Nick Mattis, the season opener will be on Friday Sept. 4, at the Oneonta Airfield Invitational.

The Mounties then head to Kutztown to take part in the DII/DIII Challenge on Sept. 12.

After a week off, Mansfield travels to Lock Haven for the for the Lock Haven Invite on Sept. 26 and then the Paul Short Run on Friday Oct. 2, hosted by Lehigh University.

Rounding out the regular season, the team travels Bloomsburg (Oct.17) and Lock Haven (Oct. 24) in back-to-back weeks.
 
November 7 starts the postseason races with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Cross Country Championships hosted at Bloomsburg.
 
The NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship will be held in Winston-Salem, N.C. and takes place on November 21.
