MANSFIELD. Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers women's soccer team dropped a home contest to the Kutztown Golden Bears, 5-0, on Saturday (Sept. 6)
Kutztown took the reins in the first few minutes of play slipping past the Mounties defense scoring two goals.
Mansfield's defense played steady pushing the ball back toward the other half of the field.
The first half ended with the Golden Bears in a two goal lead.
The final half of play Kutztown proved themselves to be a force adding another three goals to the board.Â
Serenity Esterline had seven saves in the first half. Angel Gulé had eight saves on the night.Â

The Mansfield Mounties are scheduled to continue Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play by competing against the Bloomsburg Huskies Wednesday, (Sept.) 10 at 6 PM.
