SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The Mansfield Mountaineers Women's track and field team collects personal bests at the Dave Labor Invite, hosted by Slippery Rock University on Saturday, April. 4.
Anissa Lytle and
Libby Moore started out the day for the Mounties in the 1500 placing 68
th (6:30.81) and 69
th (6:44.84). Moore's time was an over 11 second personal record.
Sandra Lemus ran the 100-meter dash, where she placed 39
th with 13.67.
Alexis McNitt joined Lemus in the 200-meter finishing together at 51
st with a time of 29.76 and 52
nd with 29.78 seconds.
Marissa Allen,
Carrie Claypool and Moore all competed in the 800-meter. Allen placed 33
rd (2:31.09) while Claypool and Moore finished 35
th (2:32) and 61st (3:03.47) both of which are personal bests.
Minyhah Easterling started in the championship shot-put finishing 15
th with 11.50 meters, also is a personal record and moves her to the fourth furthest spot in program historty.
Riley Batdorf participated in the regular shot-put placing 38
th with a mark of 6.46 meters.
Easterling marked at 22
nd with 25.41 meters in the discus,
Blaze Wood finished 29
th with a personal best of 22.40 meters.
Wood and McNitt rounded out their competition for the day with javelin placing 37
th (23.00 meters) and 44
th (19.60 meters).
Madison Ziska competed in long jump where she finished 13
th with 4.88 meters
