The Mountaineers' offense broke game one open immediately in the bottom of the first, scoring 11 runs and belting three homers in the inning.

Ryan Sekulski started the inning with a leadoff home run before back-to-back singles set up a
Jacob Houtz three-run shot to stretch the Mountie advantage to 4-0.

Ryan Scott capped the inning with the Mountaineers' second three-run homer.

Shane Stossel,
Hunter Smith,
Cole Serfass, and

Shippensburg got three runs back in the third, all unearned, to cut the Mansfield lead to 11-3.

Austin Beauchamp started game one, threw 6.0 innings, allowed zero earned runs, and struck out five Raiders.

Houtz led off the bottom of the sixth inning with Mansfield's fourth homer of the game and his second, to take a 12-3 lead.

Jeffrey Coakley and Serfass each brought home runners in the sixth to tack on two more and take an 11-run lead into the seventh.

Taylor Blevins relieved Beauchamp in the seventh and retired the side to finish off a dominant game one for the Mounties.

Stossel got the Mounties on the board in the bottom half of the fourth with a two-run shot into the parking lot behind the right field fence.
