SELENSGROVE, Pa,- The Mansfield Mountianeers women's track and field team took part in the Susquehanna Invitational, hosted by Susquehanna University on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Carrie Claypool opened up the meet with a ninth place finish in the 5K, crossing the line in a time of 20:09.35.Â

Marissa Allen finished fifth in the high jump clearing a height of 1.43. Allen would also finish 21
st in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:32.47.

Blaze Wood hit a career best mark in the weight throw with a mark of 8.27 meters. She hit a mark of 6.86 meters in the shot put.

Alexa Miller would compete in the 60-meter hurdles and finish with a time of 12.70.

Miller would be joined by
Sandra Lemus (33
rd, 8.66), and
Alexis McNitt (46
th, 9,08) in the 60-meter dash. Miller would finish in a time of 10.04.

The trio also competed in the 200-meter dash. Lemus was the top Mountie with a time of 30.13. McNitt clocked in at 31.03, and Miller finished in 34.34.

Libby Moore finished the 3K with a personal best time of 13:23.77.

The Mounties are scheduled to be back in action at the Houghton Last Chance Qualifier on  Saturday, Feb.22.Â
