MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers women's soccer team (0-7) battled through a tough Saturday (Oct. 4) afternoon frenzy with East Stroudsburg (4-2-3), with the Warriors escaping with the 1-0 decision.
Serenity Esterline collected 11 saves on the afternoon, helping limit the Warrior offense through 90 minutes of action.
Key defenders included
Samantha Newman,
Teagan Herbers,
Aaliyah Stocks, and
Hannah Winchester to help control the presence from the opponent, who could not land half their shots on goal.
