MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers women's soccer team (0-8) fell at home on Saturday, Oct. 11 to West Chester (7-1-3) by a score of 8-0.
Serenity Esterline lead the team with nine saves, while Angel Gulé had two.
The Golden Rams jumped out to an early advantage and continued to build their lead behind an efficient offensive effort.
Mansfield battled throughout the match, working to generate chances in transition but was unable to break through the West Chester defense.
The Mounties will look to regroup as they prepare for their next matchup on Wednesday, Oct. 15 against Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
