MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers sprint football team had four members selected to the 2024 Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) All-Academic Team, the league office announced on Friday (Jan. 10) morning. 

Kade Showers, Ian Mapp, David Allison, and Noah Bennett represented as the four Mountaineers to earn these honors. 

The 2024-25 All-Academic Team, selected by CSFL coaches, recognizes the conference's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Senior Kade Showers - 3.79
Junior Ian Mapp - 3.77
Junior David Allison - 3.72
Junior Noah Bennett - 3.65

Showers earns his third appearance on the list. The senior bolstered five total tackles on the season.

Allison makes his second appearance for the Mountaineers. That helped push the Mountaineers to their single-season rushing record of 1,920 yards on the year.

Mapp and Bennett make their first appearances for the Mounties. Mapp totaled 22 tackles on the season with seven tackles for loss. Bennett ended the season with one interception and 26 total tackles for the Mountaineer defense.
