SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Mansfield men's track and field team had solid showings at the Jim Taylor Invite, hosted by Susquehanna University, on Saturday, April 6.
Isaac Showers finished second in the 10K with a time of 34:41.15.
In the 3K Steeplechase
Derek Simpson finished fourth with a time of 10:26.69.
In the 400-meter dash,
Jackson Doughty was the top Mountie finisher, taking fifth with a time of 53.14.
Allwin Stoudt finished eighth with a time of 53.41.
Ibrahim Sheriff finished tenth with a time of 54.31.
Aaron Thomas finished 14
th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.69.
Thomas, Stoudt, and Sheriff returned for the 200-meter dash, finishing 15
th,18
th, and 23
rd with times of 23.53, 23.80, and 24.31 respectively.
The Mounties are back in action on Saturday April 13 as they compete Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell University.
