ROCHESTER, N.Y.-Â The Mansfield Mountaineer men's track and field team had a solid showing in their final regular season indoor meet at Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday, Feb. 9.

Seth Neal collected the victory in the 800-meter run with a season best time of 2:00.39.

Neal was the anchor leg of a 4x400 team that included
Jackson Doughty,
Aaron Thomas and
Ibrahim Sheriff that finished with a time of 3:37.58 and won the event.Â

Doughty finished third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.30. He was joined by Thomas (14
th, 24.27), Sheriff (23
rd,24.54) and
Michael Beals (51
st, 28.20). Â

Thomas also finished seventh in the 60-meter dash with a finals time of 7.35.

Victor Ortiz finished 24
th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.45.Â

In the mile,
Isaac Showers was the top mountaineer with a time of 4:48.51 (18
th) and
Rylan Ebner had a PR time of 4:55.32.Â

Oyejadesola Diya competed in the shot put with a best throw of 9.07 meters.Â

Qualified Mountaineers will next compete at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships starting Sunday, Feb. 18.Â
