MANSFIELD, Pa. - The Mansfield Mountaineers women's soccer team drops to 2-4 on the season following a 3-0 home loss against Roberts Wesleyan University (5-1) on Wednesday afternoon.
Roberts Wesleyan buried the game's first goal in the 18th minute.
Later on in the first half, RWU got the ball to bounce their way, scoring off a Mansfield own goal to increase their lead to 2-0.Â
Facing a 2-0 deficit coming out of halftime, the Mountaineers ramped up the aggression trying to get the deficit back to one.Â
Unfortunately for Mansfield, their aggression led to a penalty kick in the 77th minute where Roberts Wesleyan was able to score their final goal, to cap off the 3-0 victory.Â

Lauren Straub all tallied a shot on goal for the Mountaineers.Â
