LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Mansfield Mountaineers men's track and field team opened up the
Rondell Ruff era as they traveled to Bucknell University to take part in the Bison Opener, on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Jackson Doughty had two top 15 performances. He finished 11
th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.86. Doughty also took 15
th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.15, matching his personal best.
Doughty was joined in the 200-meter dash by
Aaron Thomas,
Victor Ortiz, and
Michael Beals who finished with times of 24.17 (37
th), 25.05 (42
nd) and 29.23 (49
th) respectively.
Thomas moved on to the top ten list in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.25, tying Kyle Kinter for the ten spot. Ortiz finished with a time of 7.51 and Beals crossed the line in 8.39.
The Mounties will return to action after Christmas break for the Highlander Invitational hosted by Houghton University on Saturday, Jan. 20.
