SPARKILL, N.Y.- The Mansfield Mountaineer Sprint Football team fell 34-0 to Saint Thomas Aquinas College on the road in the penultimate game of the season on Friday, Oct. 27.
A slow start doomed the Mounties (3-3) as the Spartans (3-3) used four first half touchdown passes to go up 28-0 at the half.
The Spartans added a late touchdown run to take the game 34-0.
Matt Robert led the Mounties with eight tackles including a tackle for loss.
Levi Wright had seven tackles.
Marvens Ravix had five tackles, two of which were for loss.
Gage Aumick collected his second interception on the season.
Cahsid Raymond was the leading rusher for the Mounties with 71 yards on 16 carries.
Dominic Cherry had 33 yards on five carries.
