MANSFIELD, Pa. - The No. 7 Mansfield Mountaineers field hockey team (8-5, 2-3 PSAC) hosted No. 3 Kutztown (10-2, 4-2 PSAC) in the annual Under the Lights contest in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play, but the Golden Bears stole the show, claiming the 2-0 victory.
Kutztown scored their first in the second quarter and their final goal in the third quarter. Their first goal came from Jordan Stroup and Jessica Traynor.
August Lewis grabbed six saves during the game.
Saramae Radel, Ella Du Plessis, Kenedy Stroup, and Melanie Esh each placed a shot on the night.
Mansfield and Kutztown tied each other in penalty corners with four each. The Golden Bears pushed out ten shots to the Mountaineers four shots.
