ITHACA, N.Y.- Senior
Sean Ringgold broke the Mansfield 60-meter dash record to highlight the men's track and field team at the Greg Page Relays hosted by Cornell University on Saturday, Dec. 3.
Ringgold broke the record in the semifinals finishing in a brisk 6.95 seconds. It beats the previous record set a season ago by Edward Marshall. It is also the first sub seven second mark in program history and a PSAC qualifying mark.Â
Joining Ringgold in the 60-meter dash was sophomore
Aaron Thomas (42,7.38) and freshmen
Michael Ho (65
th, 7.60) and
Connor Bridwell (70
th, 7.65).
Sophomore
Jackson Doughty ran the third fastest 300-meter dash in program history clocking in at 36.66, which was good for 29th. Senior
Terrance Quaker (41
st, 37.53)and sophomore
Eli Swan (84
th, 40.48) also competed in the event.
The Mountaineers are scheduled to travel to Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y. for one final meet before the semester break on Friday, Dec. 9.
