MANSFIELD, Pa. – Senior
Carly Daniels raced an All-region performance to highlight the Mansfield University men's and women's cross country teams at the 2022 NCAA DII Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Lamb's Creek Cross Country Course.
Daniels finished 17
th in the women's 6K race with a time of 22:46.3. Daniels is the first All-Region performer on the women's since Kenzie Jones in 2017, while securing the highest finish 2016 when Allison McCurry also finished 17
th. The top-25 of 157 runners earn All-Region.
Following the completion of the eight regional meets, 10 at-large team selections will be announced by the NCAA (Nov. 21). Additional individual at-large selections will be announced by the NCAA after the 34 teams in both the men's and women's the field are finalized. Anna Duncan was the second Mountaineer to cross the finish line in 74
th with a PR time of 24:28.5. Sophomore

Christian Tanner was the first male Mountie finisher, crossing the line in 69

This race concludes the 2022 cross country season for the Mountaineers, but these athletes are set to start the indoor track & field season Dec. 3, as they travel to the Greg Page Relays.
