HOUGHTON, N.Y. - The Mansfield Mountaineers women's cross country team took the road to compete in the Highlander Invitational (6k) on Saturday, Oct. 10 and recorded two season bests and three personal records. 
 

Leading the pack for the Mounties was Alyssa Parks who recorded a season best of 24:52.9.
 

Following closely behind were three more Mansfield harriers, Mayla Falank, Brook Illsley, and Libby Moore who all raced their personal best. They collected times of 25:46.1, 26:10.7, and 26:56.6 respectively.
 

Wyoming Trudeaux finished with a time of 27:25.5 in the 6k.
 

Close behind were three more Mounties. Abigail Davies recorded a season best with a time of 29:57.8. Riley Porter and Haley Larrabee were close behind with times of 30:03.7 and 30:57.6 respectively.

Mansfield will be back on the road on Saturday, Oct. 17, when they travel to Bloomsburg, Pa. to compete in the Bloomsburg Invitational.
