Alex Esterling each scored to lead the Mansfield University field hockey team to a 2-0 non-conference road victory over Frostburg State University on Saturday, Oct. 16.

The Mounties out-shot the Bobcats (1-12), 12-8, while winning the battle of penalty corners, 13-5.Â
After a slow start offensively, Stroup put the Mounties on the board in the 32nd minute off an assist from sophomore
Kelsey Robertson. The goal was the fourth of the year for Stroup.Â
Esterling scored the unassisted insurance goal in the 53rd minute to give the minutes a two-score advantage. The goal is Esterling's sixth in the past three games.
The Mounties are back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 19 when Kutztown University visits Karl Van Norman Field.Â
