FROSTBURG, Md. –
Kalin Duke scored twice to lead Mountaineer field hockey in a dominant 6-0 victory at Frostburg State in non-conference play Friday afternoon.

Duke notched the first two goals for Mansfield, scoring unassisted in the third minute before redirecting a
Mikaila Chakon shot past the keeper in the 14
th minute. The scores were the first of the season for Duke.

Larissa Motts scored her fourth of the year on a
Saramae Radel pass in the 26
th minute before
Meghan Griffin tallied her first score of the season in the final minute of the half on a
Caitlin Beauduy assist.

Mansfield outshot the Bobcats 19-0 in the first half and held a 13-0 advantage on penalty corners. 17 of the Mountie's 19 shots were on frame in the period.

Mansfield was held scoreless in the third quarter, but
Dana Evans and
Alex Esterling came through with goals in the fourth quarter. Evans scored her PSAC-leading 10
th goal of the season in the 46
th minute on a
Larissa Motts pass before
Alex Esterling notched her second of the year in the 56
th minute from
Christie Buyer.

Madison Wilinsky came up with a big defensive save in the 44
th minute to help preserve the shutout. It was the senior's conference-leading third defensive save of the season.
Brittany Ryan made a pair of saves to earn her second shutout of the year.

Overall, Mansfield totaled 34 shots with 28 on goal while holding Frostburg to just three shots. The Mounties drew 22 penalty corners in the game.

It's the third time this season that Mansfield has score six or more goals in a game and the largest margin of victory since a 7-1 win over Southern Connecticut State earlier in the month.

Mansfield takes on Lindenwood (Mo.) on Saturday in a neutral site game at Frostburg State.
