FROSTBURG, Md. – Mansfield scored three unanswered goals to overcome an early deficit and defeat Lindenwood (Mo.) 3-1 in non-conference play in Maryland on Saturday.

Lindenwood (3-2) got on the board first with Bridget Hoogendijk's score in the 21
st minute.
Madison Wilinsky prevented the Lion's from taking a 2-0 lead with her defensive save in the 23
rd minute. Wilinsky leads the PSAC with four defensive saves on the year.

Mansfield (6-2, 0-0 PSAC) did not take long to answer back as
Mikaila Chakon scored the equalizer six minutes later on a pass from
Meghan Griffin. The goal was Chakon's first of the season.

Dana Evans gave the Mounties a one-goal advantage just three minute into the second half with an assist from
Larissa Motts. Evans struck again early in the fourth quarter with her PSAC-leading 12
th goal of the season to increase the Mountie advantage to 3-1.
Saramae Radel earned her second assist in as many days.

Mansfield outshot Lindenwod 13-9 with nine shots going on target and held a 12-5 advantage on penalty corners.

Brittany Ryan made five saves to earn her sixth win of the season in cage.

Mansfield opens PSAC action at Mercyhurst on Wednesday.
