RICHMOND, Va. – Mansfield track & field compiled seven top-10 finishes in day two of the Fred Hardy Invitational hosted by Richmond on Saturday.
Kenzie Jones and
Lyndsey Payne finished third and fourth in the 3,000-meter run with Jones turning in a time of 11 minutes flat followed by Payne at 11:06. The men's 3K runners also raced to a pair of top-10 results with
Jordan Holmes hitting a PR at 9:14.28 to finish fourth with
Ryan Morrissette taking ninth at 10:14.16.
Caden Fisher registered a personal best in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.84, which was good for a sixth place finish.
Jenny Bellefeur posted a pair of eighth place finishes in the 100 and 200-meter dashes. The senior finished at 12.99 in the 100 and 26.18 in the 200, just shy of a PSAC mark of 26 flat.
Zahir Madyun hit a PR in the 200m dash with a time of 24.90.
Next up for the Mounties are the Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary on April 5.
