WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Mansfield University assistant track & field and cross country coach Michelle Rohl won the mile and finished runner-up in the 800-meter in the 50-54 age group at the USA Track & Field 2019 Masters Indoor Championships in Winston-Salem, N.C.
 
Rohl won the mile with a time of 5:36.15, improving upon her seed time of 5:37. Her best split of the race came in the final lap with a time of 39.29.
 
She turned in a time of 2:31.74 to finish second in the 800m, being edged out by less than two tenths of a second.
 
Rohl is a three-time Olympian competing in the racewalk at the 1992, 1996, and 2000 games.
