Michelle Rohl, the wife of head coach Michael Rohl, is in her 15th year as an assistant coach for the Mountaineer cross-country and track and field program.
Specializing in the distance events, Rohl is one of just two coaches in Mountaineer history to have been a member of the United States Olympic Team.
Considered a premier women's racewalker in the history of US track and field, Rohl competed in the 1992 Barcelona, 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
In addition, Rohl has won 15 National Racewalking titles and has set nine American racewalking national records.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a BA in English, Rohl was 15 time NAIA All-American in track and cross-country and two time NAIA National Champion in the 1000 meter and two mile run.
Michelle and Mike reside in Mansfield and are the parents of Molly, Sebastian, Ayla, Gabe, and Jude.
